BGA Tournament Newsletter - June 2025

·         Where – Tamahka Trails, Marksville, LA

·         Dates – Saturday June 14^th & Sunday June 15th.

·         Time – Saturday – 1:00 PM T-Times       Sunday - Shotgun start at 8:30 am  

·         The tournament fee EACH DAY is $85.00 per person and includes prize money.

                              There will also be an individual skins pool- $10.00.

Deadline to submit your tournament entry fee – Monday June 9, 2025

Special Note: The Saturday round will count as an official BGA round (mini tournament) and it counts towards the minimum required number of tournaments to be eligible for the July Calcutta. Monday June 10th is the absolute deadline for entry.

No entry fee or Skins money will be collected at the golf course the day of the tournament.

No exceptions, so return your entry forms and fees a.s.a.p.

Reminder, you can send an email to latiolaischarles67@gmail.com , ask for an invoice, and pay by credit card.  (Please be specific about your request, Saturday or Sunday or both, entry with or without skins, etc.   I can’t proceed with your invoice unless I specifically know the scope of your request)

·         New BGA Members that have joined our group in 2025 MUST have three (3) tournaments played to be eligible to participate in prize pool

·         Legacy BGA Members MUST have four (4) tournaments played since July 2024 Calcutta to be eligible to participate in prize pool

We finally were able to lock down HOTEL accommodations pricing for the June 14^th and 15^th tournament.

As an expression of our interest in hosting this event, your special group rates available for the below dates will be:

Although this seems to be an accurate reflection of your needs, we shall maintain periodic contact to adjust your room allotment as may be necessary.  On a space and rate available basis, rooms may be requested by individuals prior to and following the official dates listed above at the special group rates offered.

·         A $15.00 Resort Fee will be assessed per room, per night.

A charge of $30 will be added for a third person sharing a double room. Children 17 years and under may share the same room with parents at no additional charge.  Please note that these rates are subject to local taxes, currently 13%. Guests will be asked to present a valid credit card upon arrival in order to provide them with charge privileges during their stay.

Reservations are welcome by direct phone call to our special group reservations number at Paragon Casino Resort reservations office (800) 642-7777 and/or fax to (318) 240-6601. Please instruct your guests calling in for reservations to refer to the Branch Golf Group, BHJ13GO, in order for their request to be handled as efficiently as possible. We have also provided (attached) for your distribution by mail or email a reservation form that can easily be faxed back to the Paragon Group Reservations department. This form should be sent to your attendees no later than 60 days prior to your arrival date.
